Pennoni Construction Services, headquartered in King of Prussia, PA is currently seeking full-time and part-time AWS Certified Welding Inspectors for off-site fabrication shops throughout the USA that produce bridge and highway products for transportation agencies.

Requirements

Minimum Education: High School.
Minimum years of experience: 3.
AWS Certified Welding Inspector.
Computer Skills: Microsoft windows and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to work well independently and with others.
Reliable transportation required.

Nice To Haves

Experience performing QA/QC durung bridge fabrication, including fracture critical marerial (FCM).
Non-Destructive Testing [NDT] certifications (e.g.: UT, MT, PT).
Experience performing QA/QC of bridge and highway structures.
AWS D1.1/D1.5 Experience.
Coating Inspection experience.

Responsibilities

Inspection of welding, steel fabrication, coatings, expansion joints, bridge bearings, sign structures, bridge beams, drainage structures, and other materials.
Monitoring work for compliance with approved shop drawings, standards, and specifications.
Communicating and meeting with fabricators, clients, and engineers.
Production of daily written shop reports.
