About The Position

Intertek is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) / NDT Level II Inspector to join their Professional Services Industries, Inc. (Intertek-PSI) team in Oklahoma City, OK. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Ability to work off-shift schedules and overtime as needed
AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) Certification
D1.1 Structural Steel and Level II Ultrasonics experience
Ability to read blueprints and understand and interpret tolerances
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications

Nice To Haves

Technical degree in Welding Technology or related field
Construction Materials Testing (CMT) experience

Responsibilities

Plan and conduct the analysis, inspection, testing, and/or evaluation activities necessary to assure the quality of assigned products or components and accurately record results.
Perform visual inspections on welded products for defects such as cracks, porosity, undercut, and other discontinuities on both in-progress and completed work.
Document data obtained during all quality assurance activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Communicate significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications using measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
