About The Position

VCA Hollywood Animal Hospital is growing and seeking Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVTs) to join their Emergency teams. This role is within a fast-paced general, specialty, and emergency practice where you will work alongside general practitioners, specialists, and dedicated technical and support staff to provide exemplary patient care 24/7/365. The hospital is a one-stop shop for pet care, offering 24-hour emergency care and specialty services in Cardiology, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Surgery, and Emergency and Critical Care. VCA Hollywood Animal Hospital is committed to professional development, independent thinking, and personal growth within a supportive and familiar environment.

Requirements

• Must be available to work weekends (Saturday or Sunday) and some holidays
• Candidates must be positive and motivated
• Associates that are going to have the determination to rise above obstacles, wear multiple hats and work as a team

Responsibilities

• Anesthesia monitoring
• Full Technician Skill Utilization
• Collecting patient histories & physical exams
• Venipuncture / IVC placement
• Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority)
• Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
• Providing compassionate care for all patients
