About The Position

VCA Sheeler Road Animal Hospital is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our General Practice team full time. This role is suited for an experienced licensed tech, but we are also excited to provide developmental training to someone that is just getting started and wants to move forward in their career at a hospital that provides an array of opportunities to develop a multitude of skills. Candidates must be positive and motivated. The hospital team meets frequently, and your ideas and suggestions are encouraged to help us continue to grow. Responsibilities

• Anesthesia monitoring
• Collecting patient histories & physical exams
• Venipuncture / IVC placement
• Working towards a Hands Free Radiology program (Associate safety a top priority)
• Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
• Providing compassionate care for all patients
