Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience working in a Veterinary Hospital setting is required.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community is required.
  • Maintain a positive outlook and ability to contribute in a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills are required, and the ability to deliver exceptional client service is expected.
  • Strong Technical skills including phlebotomy, medication calculations, and radiology positioning.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Veterinary Technician credentials highly preferred for this role.
  • Emergency or Specialty experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled patient care through effective triage, rapid trauma assessment, comprehensive diagnostics, emergency stabilization, and ongoing nursing support.
  • Apply your technical abilities across a variety of responsibilities, including patient restraint, phlebotomy, catheter placement, general nursing care, medication and fluid calculations from fluid rates to CRIs, general anesthesia monitoring, and more.
  • Collaborate closely with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and support team members to provide coordinated patient care.
  • Help foster a positive, collaborative, and team-oriented hospital environment.
