About The Position

Skillforce is currently hiring experienced Certified Tig Welders for immediate and upcoming projects in Orlando, FL. Pay is up to $29 an hour based on experience and skillset. The ideal candidate will have strong TIG welding skills, experience working from blueprints and specifications, and the ability to consistently produce clean, precise, high-quality welds.

Requirements

Current TIG welding certification or applicable welding credentials.
Proficiency welding stainless steel and aluminum; carbon steel experience is a plus.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Ability to lift materials and work on feet for extended periods
Must be able to pass drug screening
OSHA 10 Certification

Nice To Haves

Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication shop environment
Experience with MIG, TIG, or Stick welding processes
Mechanical aptitude and strong work ethic

Responsibilities

Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel, and other metals as required.
Fabricate, fit, assemble, and weld components according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials for welding.
Set up and adjust welding equipment based on material type and thickness.
Inspect completed welds for accuracy, strength, appearance, and compliance with quality standards.
Use grinders, saws, drills, measuring tools, and other shop equipment.
Maintain accurate production and inspection documentation.
Follow all shop safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Complete a welding test before placement.
