About The Position

Ford of Arlington seeks a certified, experienced, and innovative Service Technician for complex diagnostics and maintenance on all vehicle areas, including specialized Ford systems, to join their team. The ideal candidate will perform advanced repairs, demonstrate leadership potential, and provide high-quality service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Technician knowledge/experience is REQUIRED.
Certifications, Licenses, and local registrations required for the position.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, maintenance, and procedure manuals.
Must be 18 years or older.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must complete the pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

Inspect malfunctioning equipment and accurately diagnose mechanical issues.
Devise a repair plan, secure the necessary components with the Parts Department, and team up with management and other technicians to confirm efficient and effective service.
Install new equipment or systems and perform routine maintenance to guarantee optimal performance of the customer's vehicles.
Assist customers to understand their needs, explain diagnoses, and provide solutions to ensure service satisfaction.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
Document the repair and maintenance work performed.
Note concerns encountered and create a detailed service report.
