About The Position

Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram Certified Technician needed at Rick Hendrick Jeep Chrysler Dodge Ram FIAT in North Charleston, South Carolina. This role involves examining customer vehicles, identifying necessary repairs and maintenance, estimating costs, performing repairs, documenting services, and ensuring efficient and guideline-compliant work. The technician will also be responsible for requesting parts, maintaining customer satisfaction (CSI) standards, keeping a clean and safe work area, participating in required training, accurately recording work hours, following safety regulations, demonstrating core values, and complying with company policies.

Requirements

GED or High School Diploma
Automotive field of study/work experience
5+ years of desired work experience
Thorough knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
Demonstrable mechanical skills and knowledge.
Technical training or commensurate technical experience required.
Valid Driver’s License
Basic Computer skills to utilize timekeeping system.
Ability to learn parts department computer inventory and ordering system.
Ability to understand and follow instructions.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.
Regular and predictable attendance.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Regularly required to talk and hear; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
Ability to deal with standardized situations.
Ability to understand and follow technical manuals.

Responsibilities
