About The Position

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Certified Teacher to join our team. The Certified Teacher will provide individualized and small-group instruction to children with autism, develop educational programming that supports each learner's unique needs, and collaborate with behavior analysts, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and families to help students achieve their educational and developmental goals. Develop, assist and supervise non-Certified Teachers in the department of IEP, IHP, IDT, ISP and Treatment Plans of Autistic children. Provide daily training to teach Consumer to attain and maintain the skills necessary to achieve maximum functional independence and academic success. Support and promote the rights of consumers and function effectively as a member of Interdisciplinary Team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Current Texas Certification in both Special Education and General Education
  • A current valid Texas Driver’s License required.
  • Knowledge of differentiated instruction, individualized education planning, and positive behavior support strategies.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality services to children and families.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience teaching students with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Special Education certification.
  • Experience working in interdisciplinary clinical or therapeutic settings.
  • Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and evidence-based instructional practices.
  • Experience developing individualized educational goals and progress monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, individualized instruction aligned with each student's educational goals.
  • Develop lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to integrate educational and behavioral strategies into daily programming.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate educational documentation.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments to inform instructional planning.
  • Foster a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and educational recommendations.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, staff training, and professional development activities.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable state educational standards and organizational policies.
