About The Position

The Certified Surgical Technologist assists surgeons and other members of the surgical team before and during operating room procedures. The role is based in a hospital operating room or surgical services department and includes preparing surgical suites, sterile fields, patients, and specialized equipment, as well as providing primary scrubbing support across surgical cases. This is a temporary contract position working day shifts of eight hours, scheduled from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Floating between designated regional facility sites is required. Call coverage requires a 30-minute response time, with up to 10 on-call shifts per month. Weekend work is required through an on-call rotation.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of current Certified Surgical Technologist experience.
• Active NBSTSA Certification, required at submission.
• Active BLS Certification, required at submission.

Nice To Haves

• Surgical experience in Orthopedics, OB-GYN, and General Surgery.
