About The Position
Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, an affiliate of Mass General Brigham, is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a 36-hour rotating position. This role functions as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Surgical Technician Certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
- Must present and submit Certification of Graduation from an ARC/STSA-Accredited Surgical Technology Program
- NBSTSA- Certification is conferred by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting
- Basic computer skills
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of Surgical Technician experience preferred
- Staff adheres to all I.C.A.R.E. Standards
Responsibilities
- Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures
- Participate in ongoing educational and competency activities
- Precept staff to the surgical technician job duties, including surgical technicians, nurses and students
