Per Diem Certified Surgical Technologist
About The Position
Our Mountainside physicians and staff at The Center for Ambulatory Surgery are dedicated to providing quality care to the community, treating a range of orthopedic, podiatric, urologic, plastic surgery, chronic pain, and ear, nose, and throat (ENT) conditions. Our goal at The Center for Ambulatory Surgery is to provide a team of highly trained surgeons, anesthesiologists, and staff members whose focus is on patient safety, comfort, and care. We are currently searching for a per diem Surgical Tech. who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. This position requires availability on Wednesdays, with the potential to be scheduled on additional days as needed.
Requirements
- HS diploma/GED
- Current BLS certification
- Current CST certification
- 1-2 years of operating room experience
Responsibilities
- Working in the surgical scrub role in orthopedic, podiatry, pain management, ENT, and urology cases
- Proper handling of instrumentation
- Assisting in room setup for surgical cases
