About The Position

Fort Apache Surgery Center is a surgery center specializing in pain management. We are seeking a team-oriented and dependable individual who can work independently while also collaborating effectively with others. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of surgical techniques and be organized, adaptable, and positive. Ambulatory surgery center experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork. Requirements

• Must be a CST or CRCST
• Familiarity with medical terminology is required.
• Graduate of an Accredited Surgical Technology Program
• BLS Certification

Nice To Haves

• Ambulatory surgery center experience is preferred but not required.
• Prior experience in instrument processing preferred.
• Prior experience as a surgical technologist preferred.
• Pain Management Experience
• Orthopedic Experience

Responsibilities

• Working as a team to deliver safe patient care.
• Working in Sterile Processing and Instrument Decontamination
• Assisting in Operating Room turnover.
• Assisting with inventory control and restocking of supplies.
• Assists with the preparation of the operating rooms.
• Pulling needed supplies for the upcoming cases.
• Performs sterilization and disinfection required for instruments and equipment as per manufacture's instructions.
• Ability to maintain accurate sterilization and decontamination logs.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is required.
