About The Position
Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare (TMH) is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join their neurosurgery team. This is a specialized role focusing on spine and brain surgeries, working consistently with the same surgeons and RNs to develop high proficiency in the specialty. Dedicated neuro-techs will have call responsibilities outside of their usual shift to cover neurosurgical cases during evenings, nights, and weekends, with rotation among team members. Other off-shift requirements are not covered by these specialty techs. Additional duties include stocking specialty supplies and updating neurosurgical preference cards. This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus under specific conditions, including acceptance of a full-time position (0.9 FTE or greater), being a former employee separated for at least 12 months, and potentially meeting certain job-related experience requirements.
Requirements
- High School Graduate
- Graduation from a formal accredited surgical technician training program.
- Certified Surgical Tech Certification
Nice To Haves
- Two years surgical technician experience.
