About The Position

The Certified Surgical Technologist assists with the care and preparation of surgical patients and the operating room under the direct supervision of an operating room RN. The role is responsible for assembling and setting up surgical instruments and equipment and using them during surgical procedures. Work is primarily routine but may rapidly shift to emergent or critical situations, requiring directed or independent decision-making depending on the circumstances. The position is at MultiCare Allenmore Hospital in Tacoma, Washington. The schedule is variable, Monday through Friday, with variable hours and shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours between 0645 and 2200. Requirements

Graduate of a Certified Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience.
Active Washington State Surgical Technologist Registration required prior to the start date.
Health Care Provider-level CPR certification.

National certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
Previous experience is preferred.
