About The Position
The Certified Surgical Technologist supports operating room operations by preparing and maintaining the operating room environment and assisting with the peri-operative care of patients. The role works closely with surgeons and nurses to help ensure the operating room functions smoothly and efficiently. It requires a strong understanding of sterile techniques and the ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment. The hospital describes its environment as fast-paced, energetic, collaborative, and innovative. The position is offered per diem and includes three levels on the surgical technologist career ladder.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Surgical Technician certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Submit a certificate of graduation from an ARC/STSA-accredited Surgical Technology Program.
- Basic computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- One year of Surgical Technician experience is preferred.
