About The Position
The Certified Surgical Technologist works under general supervision as a surgical scrub person, performing tasks before, during, and after surgery to assist the surgical team. This is a full-time, 36-hour-per-week position at Edward Hospital in Naperville, Illinois, with hours from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and rotating call required. The role is part of the Cardiovascular Institute. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available to candidates with at least two years of prior Certified Surgical Technologist experience. The hourly pay range is $27.14–$40.71; the rate offered is determined by factors including expertise and years of experience.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Certified Surgical Technician program or equivalent.
- Current CPR certification (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- National certification through the Association of Surgical Technologists is required. Candidates who do not hold certification at hire must obtain it within 18 months of their hire date.

- At least two years of prior Certified Surgical Technologist experience is required to qualify for the sign-on bonus.
