About The Position

Requirements
- NBSTSA or NCCT certification OR Graduate of an Accredited Surgical Technology program, and eligible for certification within 12 months
Responsibilities
- Maintains operative care standards according to AORN guidelines.
- Stocks rooms, cleans equipment, and prepares supplies based on surgeon and anesthesia needs.
- Assists with patient positioning, surgical hand scrubs, counts, and Time Out procedures.
- Identifies and addresses safety hazards, follows universal precautions, and infection control protocols.
- Organizes tasks to meet patient and unit needs, adapts to changes, and stays current with education and policies.
