About The Position
OSMC Outpatient Surgery Center is hiring PRN Certified Surgical First Assistants (CSFA). OSMC is dedicated to providing the highest quality care for diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system within a patient-centered, service-driven environment. Our team works collaboratively to ensure every patient receives exceptional care and support throughout their treatment journey. OSMC is looking for an individual who has strong attention to detail and is goal driven. Our full time or PRN role is seeking someone to work full 3 ten hour days or pick up a shift or two Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Surgical Technologist program.
- Graduate of a Certified Surgical First Assist program.
- BLS Certification required to apply.
Nice To Haves
- Past Surgical First Assist experience.
- Looking to work full 3 ten hour days or pick up a shift or two Monday through Friday.
- Seeking to work less than 40 hours a week and want to pick up extra hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance in exposure, hemostasis, closure, and other intraoperative technical functions that help the surgeon carry out a safe operation with optimal patient results.
- Perform preoperative and postoperative duties to better facilitate patient care.
- Perform functions during the operation under the direction and supervision of the surgeon and following appropriate laws and regulations.
