About The Position

A regional medical center in the Glens Falls, NY area is seeking a Temporary Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for an afternoon-shift assignment. The CST will assist surgical teams in general surgery, orthopedics, vascular, and urological procedures, maintaining sterile fields and supporting intraoperative surgical care. Full completion of the facility’s Operating Room Orientation is required upon start.

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in General Surgery, Orthopedic Fracture Care, Vascular, and Urology procedures.
• Active NBSTSA Certification (Must be uploaded with profile).
• Active BLS Certification (Must be uploaded with profile).
• Permanent residential address must be included in the candidate profile and match their Driver's License or State ID (validated during compliance).
• Travelers residing in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington counties are ineligible for travel assignment consideration.
• Complete Work History.
• Position-specific Skills Checklist (completed within the last 12 months).
• One Supervisory Reference from within the past 2 years of employment.
• Uploaded copies of active NBSTSA and BLS certifications.

Nice To Haves

• Prior travel nursing/allied health experience.
