About The Position
At TriHealth, Certified Surgical Technologists are central to the success of every procedure and every patient outcome. When you join our surgical services team, you become part of a respected, people‑focused health system where your technical expertise, dedication, and teamwork truly make a difference. This role performs technical skills and provides assistance to surgeons, anesthesia personnel, registered nurses, and other professionals in the operating room. Performs similar duties in other areas of the hospital as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Degree
- Graduate of accredited school of Surgical Technology. Will accept a non-accredited school of Surgical Technology if hired prior to 2019.
- BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers)
- Surgical Technologist Certification required
Responsibilities
- Pursues personal and professional development through internal and external educational opportunities related to their area of expertise.
- Communicates professionally and effectively with team members and customers regarding patient care situations.
- Demonstrates job competence and unit knowledge by understanding position responsibilities, policies, unit goals, and organizational goals.
- Maintains a safe environment for patients, self, and team members.
- Participates in unit‑based quality improvement initiatives.
- Works collaboratively with team members to ensure the needs of the unit, patients, and customers are met.
