About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated casual call Certified Surgical Tech to join our team in Whitehall, WI! This role involves working casual/on-call, picking up shifts as the department needs. The primary responsibilities include assisting the physician as a scrub person according to prescribed standards and assisting the RN in performing circulating duties as directed. The role primarily functions in the scrub role, preparing, selecting, and maintaining equipment, instruments, and supplies.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited surgical tech program
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification within 2 years of hire date.
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Work casual/on-call – pick up shifts as the department needs
• Assists physician as scrub person according to prescribed standards.
• Assist RN in performing circulating duties as directed.
• Performs primarily in the scrub role preparing, selecting maintaining equipment, instruments, and supplies.
