About The Position

We are looking for a top skilled CST SPL like you to join our Texas Health family. This position is located at Texas Health Stephenville, a full-service, 98-bed hospital serving Erath and surrounding counties since 1926. Requirements

H.S. Diploma or Equivalent and was employed to practice surgical technology in a health care facility before September 1, 2009
Graduate of an accredited surgery technology program, Vocational Nurse Program or graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology Upon hire
CST - Certified Surgical Technologist graduate of an accredited surgical tech program Upon Hire
CST - Certified Surgical Technologist and was employed to practice surgical technology in a health care facility before September 1, 2009 Upon Hire
CST - Certified Surgical Technologist graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology 2 Years
LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse Upon Hire
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly

Responsibilities

Perform surgical scrub duties in the OR.
Provide support to nursing on the floor when not needed in the OR, including patient transport, stocking rooms, clerical duties, and assisting nursing as needed and within their scope.
