Requirements

Certified Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting Certification (NBSTSA) or if a new graduate, must supply exam date prior to start of employment.
Certification must be obtained within six months of hire and complete a probationary period of six (6) months from date of hire.
Completion of a certified Surgical Technologist, Operating Room Technician or comparable training program or experience as an O.R. Technician/Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting.
High school diploma or GED.
Must live within a commutable distance to NYP.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience as an OR/Surgical Tech in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities
