The Electrophysiology Laboratory team carefully evaluates each patient and provides a full range of diagnostic tests including electrophysiology study (EP) study and tilt table tests to ensure appropriate treatments and successful patient outcomes. This is a full time position working 11:00 am - 7:00 pm located at the NewYork-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalency required
  • Completed an accredited Surgical Technician Program
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist by the Association of Surgical Technologist or Surgical Technician by the National Board of Surgical Technician and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
  • Minimum of one year experience as a Certified Surgical Technician
  • Knowledge of surgical supplies, instruments, machines and equipment used in and related to the Operating Room
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
  • All roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working as a Certified Surgical Technician in EP preferred
  • New Graduates will be considered based on required CST Certification and Academic performance
