About The Position

This is a part-time position in a very busy, fast-paced outpatient Mohs Surgery practice. The role involves all aspects of Surgical Technician duties, and the practice will also consider a Licensed Practical Nurse or an experienced Registered/Certified Clinical Medical Assistant. Responsibilities include assisting the physician with in-office procedures, cleaning, monitoring, sterilization, and stocking of exam rooms and work areas, as well as medical assisting duties such as rooming patients and obtaining vitals. The position also requires documentation in EMR and other assigned or necessary duties.

Requirements

• Must have qualifying certification (will consider L.P.N. or experienced R.M.A./C.C.MA.)
• Experience in a medical office setting highly preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication skills
• Must be proficient with EMR
• Ability to multi-task and function efficiently within a teamwork environment

Responsibilities

• All aspects of Surgical Technician duties
• Assisting physician with in-office procedures
• Cleaning, monitoring, sterilization, and stocking exam rooms / work areas
• Medical Assisting duties such as rooming patients, obtaining vitals, etc.
• Documentation in EMR
• Other duties as assigned/necessary
