About The Position

The role facilitates the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
- Obtain certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) within twelve months of hire.
- CPR – Basic Life Support.

Responsibilities
- Prepare the surgical operating suite with drapes, medications, solutions, instruments, equipment, implants, and supplies, and ensure equipment and instruments are available and functional.
- Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
- Pass instruments to the physician during surgery and continually account for the number and location of instruments and supplies.
- Receive and process specimens, when required, for delivery to the laboratory.
