About The Position

Wellington Regional Medical Center is seeking a full-time Certified Surgical Tech for the Operating Room (OR). This position is 40 hours per week with a day shift schedule and offers full benefits. The ideal candidate will have experience in Vascular and Ortho. Requirements

Graduate of a surgical technology program or equivalent
Surgical Technician certification is required
Six months of operating room experience
Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
Experienced in Vascular and Ortho

Responsibilities

Functions as a cooperative team member in the Surgical Services department.
Provides constant technical assistance to the surgeon within his or her scope of practice.
Follows current professional practice standards, rules and regulations set forth by AORN and AST.
Willing to cross train and float to meet the needs of the institution.
