About The Position

Texas Health Stephenville is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech (CST) to join their team. This full-time, day shift position involves assisting in 4 operating rooms and 1 procedure room, providing services in Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, ENT, Dental, and General Surgery. The role emphasizes the delivery of high-quality patient care through nursing education, research, and innovation, within a supportive team environment that offers opportunities for growth. Texas Health Stephenville is a full-service, 98-bed hospital with a history dating back to 1926, offering a range of services including surgical, women's and infants', advanced diagnostic imaging, sleep lab, and wound care. Requirements

H.S. Diploma or Equivalent and was employed to practice surgical technology in a health care facility before September 1, 2009
Graduate of an accredited surgery technology program, Vocational Nurse Program or graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology Upon hire
CST - Certified Surgical Technologist CST (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) and graduate of an accredited surgical tech program Upon Hire
CST - Certified Surgical Technologist CST (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) and was employed to practice surgical technology in a healthcare facility before September 1, 2009 Upon Hire
CST - Certified Surgical Technologist CST (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) and graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology 2 Years
LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse Upon Hire
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training 90 Days
