About The Position

Job Summary: This position will provide aide and exposure, hemostasis, closure and other intraoperative technical functions that help the surgeon carry out a safe operation with optimal results for the patient. THIS POSITION IS FOR A 13-WEEK CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT Salary will be $95.00 per hour plus applicable shift differential Contract employees will be assigned to specific divisions. To qualify, candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in that specialty area. 40 hours per week/80 hours per pay period 10-hour shifts or unit designated work hours Scheduled based on the needs of the unit This position is temporary and not eligible for benefits Hired for a 13-week contract not to exceed 26 weeks

Requirements

  • Successful graduate of a Surgical First Assistant Program and is certified as a Surgical First Assistant
  • Possess the ability to effectively communicate with physicians, staff and coworkers
  • Must maintain current CPR certification
  • Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.
