Will coach Federal government/military personnel to implement productive physical conditioning programs specifically designed in alignment with job requirements to enhance their physical performance, promote wellness, and reduce injury risk. Collaborates with medical, athletic training, and leadership teams to support recovery, conditioning, and overall wellness. Will report participant's new or undiagnosed medical conditions to higher levels of medical care as required. Designs and delivers individualized strength and conditioning programs to optimize physical performance and to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal injury. (50%) Conducts individual and group assessments to include observation, data collection, interviews, and consultations with organizational leaders to customize programs for optimizing and sustaining high levels of performance. (20%) Attends staff meetings with interdisciplinary team members and government leadership to coordinate services aligned with organizational goals. (10%) Provides expert guidance on matters related to strength conditioning, physical wellness, injury prevention, and recovery. (10%) Manages specialized strength and conditioning equipment, training devices, or other associated equipment and report deficiencies to organizational points of contact for servicing and maintenance.
