Requirements

• Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Guarantee Patient Safety by meticulously decontaminating and sterilizing surgical instruments according to precise clinical standards, ensuring every tool is safe for the next procedure.
• Precision Tool Preparation using advanced tracking systems to assemble surgical sets with 100% accuracy, providing our surgeons with exactly what they need to succeed.
• Drive Operational Readiness by proactively managing specialized inventory and case carts, ensuring life-saving equipment is always available the moment a patient needs it.
• Champion Quality Excellence by leading peer audits and equipment inspections, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the sterile processing department.
• Master Complex Technology by expertly operating high-tech sterilization equipment, translating manufacturer instructions into flawless, repeatable safety protocols.
