About The Position
The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for task-based Sterile Processing activities. This role involves decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation, as well as managing various software applications, assembling and delivering surgical and interventional procedure case carts, and paring and replenishment of materials. The technician will collaborate with surgical partners to ensure accurate and complete surgical instrumentation and supplies are provided. A key aspect of this role is contributing to a positive patient experience by anticipating needs, addressing concerns promptly, and fostering confidence in the care provided. Performs related duties as required.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- BLS required
- IAHCSMM or CBSPD Certified

- 1 year in sterile processing
