About The Position
Baylor Scott & White Surgicare - Weatherford is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Tech. This role involves maintaining and caring for all surgical instruments, and preparing supplies and instruments for surgery cases. The facility offers a supportive environment with a focus on work-life balance, no call responsibilities, and weekends/holidays off. It is a joint venture with USPI, accredited by The Joint Commission, and features advanced facilities with 3 Operating Rooms and 1 Treatment Room, specializing in ENT, Gastroenterology, Orthopedics, Spine, and Pain Management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience
- Experience with all types of sterilizers
- Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
- Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred
