About The Position
The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for task-based sterile processing activities. This role involves decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation, utilizing various software applications. The technician will also be responsible for the assembly and delivery of surgical and interventional procedure case carts, paring and replenishment of materials, and collaborating with surgical partners to ensure accurate and complete surgical instrumentation and supply delivery.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- IAHCSMM or CBSPD certified.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of experience in sterile processing.
Responsibilities
- Decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation.
- Utilize various software applications for sterile processing tasks.
