About The Position

Kokua is seeking certified Special Education substitute teachers for the 2026-27 school year in San Antonio, TX. Requirements

1+ year(s) classroom teaching experience, preferably in a special education setting
Texas Teacher Certification in Special Education (EC-12) - proof of valid certification required
Confidence to manage a classroom of students
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
Strong belief that every child has a unique & powerful gift to share with the world
Ability to pass state & federal background checks
