Requirements

Certified Soccer official - Colorado Soccer Association or US Soccer
Capable of officiating 7v7 or 11v11 soccer
Understands how the game is played including the principles, practice, and techniques used in recreational sporting events.
Ability to handle participants, team managers and/or coaches under difficult game situations.
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
Possess a positive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to communicate clearly
Must be available to work evenings and/or weekends
Proficient customer service skills
Capable of establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with fellow employees, various community organizations, and the public.
High School Diploma /GED Equivalency

Nice To Haves

One (1) year of previous referee, playing, or coaching experience is preferred.
Passion for sports and social activities
Outgoing and ready to handle anything presented
Punctual and professional, but embraces a "work hard, play hard" attitude

Responsibilities

Ensure a safe, fun, social and fair environment for all players
Understand and kindly and fairly enforce each sport’s rules
Communicate with the office regarding any equipment, rule issues, player issues, etc.
Serve as a Volo representative at facilities and fields
Set up & take down fields and /or soccer goals
Update league scores in our host app
Promote events and upcoming leagues via social media and on-field selling and help distribute marketing materials
Encourage and maintain a quality experience throughout the league
Other league-day preparations, such as field setup and supervision.
Use host app to check in players as needed
Execute fundraising activities to support kids programs
Make players meet & feel welcome
