About The Position
We are seeking a Per Diem Certified Scrub Technician for Interventional Pain Management, Ophthalmology and possible other specialties. Certified Surgical Technologists, also called scrubs and surgical or operating room technicians, assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel. Surgical technologists are members of operating room teams, which most commonly include surgeons, anesthesiologists, and circulating nurses.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical technologist program.
- Certification required.
- BLS required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of surgical experience in the Operating Room.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel.
- Function as a member of the operating room team.
