About The Position
Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Certified Scrub Tech II for our Surgical Services Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Certified Scrub Tech II, you will assist the Surgical Team in providing safe, appropriate, and culturally aware patient care, help surgeons during surgery by passing them instruments and other sterile supplies, prepare the Operation Room with all the necessary supplies, properly sterilize required instruments and supplies, serve as surgical assistant as needed, and assist in ordering and restocking Operating Room supplies and instruments.
Requirements
- High school or GED required
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program and certified
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Nice To Haves
- 1 year hospital Operating Room experience preferred
- Cardiac Scrub Tech Experience strongly preferred for WOMC
Responsibilities
- Assists the Surgical Team in providing a safe, appropriate, and culturally aware patient care
