EPR - Nurse for Homecoming
About The Position
South Fayette Township School District is seeking a Certified School Nurse or Registered Nurse to provide emergency care for minor injuries or acute illnesses on an as-needed basis for guest students attending the High Homecoming Event. The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM. The nurse will report to the Building Principals and will be responsible for administering emergency first aid according to American Red Cross guidelines and applying nursing theory for assessment, planning, intervention, and follow-up. This role may involve contacting EMS for emergency support. Terms of employment will follow South Fayette School District's applicable policies, with new hires needing to complete Human Resources processes.
Requirements
- Licensed professional nurse in Pennsylvania
- Current certification in Adult & Child CPR/AED

- Preference will be given to a South Fayette Township School District School Nurse or substitute nurse
Responsibilities
- Administer emergency first aid treatment in accordance with the American Red Cross guidelines.
- Applies appropriate nursing theory as basis for implementing nursing actions, which include: physical assessment, plan, intervention, follow-up.
- Contact EMS for emergency support as needed.
