Certified Respiratory Therapist (Ft)
About The Position
This position requires a graduate from an Accredited Respiratory Care program with professional credentials and licensure by the State of Alabama. The therapist must hold the LRT, CRT, or RRT credentials. They must be able to read, write, and speak English and communicate effectively. The role involves working with personnel, visitors, patients, and the general public, participating in recordkeeping duties within the department, accounting records, and patient charting. Daily maintenance and quality control for the ABG analyzer are also key responsibilities, as is preparing shift duty sheets for daily treatments, oxygen, aerosol patients, and scheduled diagnostics.
Requirements
- Graduate from an Accredited Respiratory Care program
- Licensure by the State of Alabama
