About The Position

This role involves leading clinical interventions by assessing patients with respiratory insufficiencies and developing customized care plans to accelerate their recovery. The therapist will execute advanced life-support modalities, including the implementation and monitoring of complex respiratory equipment to ensure physiological stability in critical moments. Driving patient outcomes involves continuously evaluating the effectiveness of medications and treatments, adapting care plans in real-time based on patient response. The role also includes empowering families and patients through education and ensuring emergency readiness by maintaining high-precision equipment and responding rapidly to resuscitation calls.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.
