About The Position

This is a full-time position for a Certified Respiratory Therapist. The role involves various responsibilities within the respiratory care department, including patient charting, equipment maintenance, and preparing daily treatment schedules.

Requirements

• A graduate from an Accredited Respiratory Care program
• Licensure by the State of Alabama
• Must hold the LRT, CRT, or RRT credentials
• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language and communicate effectively
• Must possess the ability to work with personnel, visitors, patients, and the general public

Responsibilities

• Participate in recordkeeping duties within the department, accounting records, patient charting
• Perform daily maintenance, quality control for the ABG analyzer
• Prepare shift duty sheets for daily treatments, oxygen, aerosol patients, and scheduled diagnostics
