About The Position

Join our Wellness Family as a Certified Residential Medication Aid (CRMA) and play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive essential assistance with their daily activities and medications. Your primary responsibilities will include administering prescribed medications, assisting with personal care, and promptly addressing resident needs with empathy and attentiveness. This role is crucial in maintaining the well-being and quality of life for our residents.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of state competency exam for CRMA-40hr certification.
  • Active CNA or PSS license.
  • Ability to move and assist residents.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Genuine care and empathy for residents' well-being.
  • Accurate recording of resident information and vital signs.
  • Ability to work well with healthcare professionals as part of the Wellness team.
  • Adherence to ethical standards and resident information privacy.
  • Criminal Background Screening is required.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications to residents as prescribed by their licensed care providers.
  • Help residents with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Address residents' needs quickly and with empathy, showing attentive care.
  • Collaborate with other care professionals to ensure an effective care team.
  • Record observations and updates on residents' conditions to maintain accurate records.
  • Follow safety rules and infection control measures to ensure resident health.
  • Participate in training and education to continuously improve caregiving skills.
