The Certified Relationship Banker II provides “first line” contact for clients as they enter the branch, assessing their needs, sharing products and services information, growing their relationships, and handling complaints or problems. They determine which financial products best meet the client’s needs and financial circumstances, advising clients regarding the advantages and disadvantages of different financial products. This role involves opening new accounts, providing clients with account information, handling maintenance requests, and monitoring client accounts for non-branch officers. The Certified Relationship Banker II resolves client problems through direct personal action or referral to the proper staff member, identifies and maximizes cross-selling opportunities through client profiling, and engages with team members and other business partners to make referrals. Adherence to security measures and regulatory requirements (i.e. CIP, BSA) is crucial. This role also handles client requests involving the Bank’s Legal department, orders checks, operates a teller terminal, and assists with balancing the vault and cash verification when needed. The position requires cross-training and support for other positions as needed, and may involve opening and closing the branch, other operational tasks, and assisting with loan processing and servicing. Performs other duties and special projects as needed by Branch Manager or Operations Officer. Works branch hours, including some evenings and weekends. Maintains CRB skills and knowledge as demonstrated by passing the annual CRB exam.
