Requirements

  • Must be in possession of a valid certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
  • Must be in possession of a valid CRNP certification in the Adult Care or Family Care specialty area as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
  • Must obtain and maintain valid CRNP Prescriptive Authority Approval to prescribe and dispense drugs as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions.
  • A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
  • A conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct medical assessments and diagnostic evaluations
  • Complete required patient records in alignment with DHS and hospital standards
  • Direct and participate in treatment team activities to guide care planning
  • Review laboratory findings, diagnostic reports, and clinical data to identify notable conditions
  • Communicate with families, staff, and community partners to support treatment goals
  • Prepare summaries and coordinate with service units to ensure continuity of care
