About The Position

MUSC Health – Lancaster Medical Center is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join a high-performing Anesthesia Care Team model in Lancaster, SC. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced CRNAs and board-certified Anesthesiologists within a collaborative Anesthesia Care Team, delivering high-quality care across a diverse case mix at two well-supported campuses in Lancaster and Chester. In this model, CRNAs play a vital role in delivering hands-on anesthesia care across a wide range of procedures, with the autonomy to manage cases while benefiting from physician partnership and resources. Requirements

• Experience administering vascular, minimal pediatric, neuro, regional, and orthopedic anesthesia, as well as anesthesia for outpatient surgery.
• Graduate of a program approved by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
• Minimum education requirement for those hired after March 1, 2019, is a master’s degree, or higher, with the concentration in Nurse Anesthesia.
• Insurable by the medical malpractice insurer of MUSC for the required limits.
• Must be recognized as an APRN to be eligible, with current license to practice, or eligibility to obtain practice in the state of South Carolina.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) require either a certification from an American Health Association (AHA) for Healthcare Providers or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Healthcare Provider.
