Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
About The Position
The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist provides hospital-based anesthesia care at a community-focused hospital in Skowhegan, Maine. The role covers general surgery, orthopedics, podiatry, OB/GYN, endoscopy, and pediatric cases involving children over age two. The CRNA works with a collaborative anesthesia and surgical team and provides endoscopy anesthesia, labor epidurals, and perioperative patient care. The hospital has three operating rooms, an endoscopy suite, an OB unit, and uses the Meditech EMR. This is a full-time, Monday-through-Friday position with no call responsibilities. The role offers a base salary of $275,000–$310,000 annually, along with relocation assistance, a sign-on bonus, medical insurance, a retirement plan, paid time off, and a CME allowance.
Requirements
- Current NBCRNA certification.
- Active Maine CRNA license.
- Master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia or equivalent.
- Proficiency in endoscopy anesthesia and labor epidurals.
- Comfort providing anesthesia for diverse surgical procedures.
- Experience caring for pediatric patients over age two.
- Strong clinical judgment and patient management skills.
