Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Graduation from an accredited AANA-approved nurse anesthesia program
- Current CRNA certification
- Licensure in the State of Ohio
- PALS certification
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent manual dexterity and physical/emotional stamina
- NBCRNA Board Certified - Required
- AANA certification - Required
- BLS/PALS certification - Required
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) - Required
- Accepting new graduates with pediatric experience - Required
Nice To Haves
- 1-3 years of neonatal and/or pediatric experience
- Ohio License (or willing to obtain) - Preferred
Responsibilities
- No call, holidays, or weekends required
- Work 8 or 10 hour shifts (0700-1530 or 0700-1730)
- Provide anesthesia care under the supervision of a Pediatric Anesthesiologist
- Develop and implement anesthesia care plans based on preoperative assessments
- Average of 1-15 surgical cases per day
- Contribute to an exceptional patient care environment in a Level 1 Trauma Center
- Participate in the care within a collaborative team of anesthesia staff and physicians
