The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) provides safe, high-quality, independent, patient-centered anesthesia care across the critical access hospital setting. The CRNA independently evaluates patients, develops and implements individualized anesthesia plans, administers and manages anesthesia, and provides comprehensive perioperative care in collaboration with surgeons, physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the healthcare team. This position offers the opportunity to practice broad-scope anesthesia in a community hospital environment, caring for a diverse patient population and supporting a wide range of surgical, procedural, emergency, and diagnostic services. The CRNA is expected to exercise sound clinical judgment, respond effectively to urgent and emergent situations, and contribute to the hospital’s commitment to accessible, high-quality rural healthcare.
